What a fantastic day!
Our Herefordshire Means Business Construction, Trade, Manufacturing and Engineering Showcase 2026 brought businesses from across Herefordshire and beyond together for a brilliant day of networking, live demonstrations, industry insights, new connections and, of course, some AMAZING pizza!
Held at NMITE’s Skylon Campus in Hereford on Thursday 24th September, the purpose of the event was to bring people together to showcase some of the fantastic businesses working across the construction, trade, manufacturing and engineering sectors and share crucial knowledge, hints and tips for surviving in the industry.
And what a day it turned out to be!
It was brilliant to see so many businesses under one roof, from established companies to smaller independent businesses, all sharing their expertise, showcasing their products and services and making valuable new connections.
Whether visitors came along to discover new suppliers, learn something new, catch up with familiar faces or make new connections, there was plenty happening throughout the Showcase.
One of the highlights was our live demonstration areas, giving visitors the chance to see products, equipment and expertise in action.
Visitors also had the opportunity to hear directly from industry experts throughout the day, with speaker sessions and discussions covering some of the key topics, challenges and opportunities affecting the construction, trade, manufacturing and engineering sectors.
It was a great opportunity to hear different perspectives, pick up new ideas and learn from people working within the industries every day.
But, as always with Herefordshire Means Business, it was not just about business. It was about the conversations, introductions and connections that happen throughout the day and continue long after the event has finished.

Being able to communicate as a team at events is crucial and Mercia Telephone Radios Ltd helped make that happen. With their most excellent radios, we were able to solve issues quickly, arrange supplies and generally run a tight ship.
