Herefordshire Means Business Membership Terms & Conditions

Upon application to Herefordshire Means Business, members are bound by the following terms and conditions. The following sections pertaining to application, renewal, resignation and payments are highlighted as follows:

The annual subscriptions payable by members shall be such sums as may, from time to time be determined by the company, and shall become due and payable in each year on the first day of the month in which application was made or on such other date or dates as may be determined by the Board.

No member whose subscription is in arrears shall be entitled to exercise the rights of membership and unless the Herefordshire Means Business team otherwise determines, any member whose subscription shall be more than 3 months in arrears shall cease to be a member and their name shall be struck off the register of members.

Resignation of members.

Any member wishing to resign from membership of Herefordshire Means Business must give written notice to that effect at least one month before the date upon which the subscription for the following year shall become due. If no such notice is received, the member shall be liable for the ensuing years annual membership sum, and the debt will be legally recoverable by Herefordshire Means Business.

Once resigned from membership of Herefordshire Means Business, all stationery displaying the Herefordshire Means Business logo must be destroyed.

Herefordshire Means Business is responsible for the protection of all personal data supplied on this form. I understand and consent that the data here supplied will be held on the Herefordshire Means Business database. The details provided on this form will be used by Herefordshire Means Business to inform me of associated Membership services and will be included in the membership directories and shown on event delegate lists as appropriate.

Herefordshire Means Business operates in a broad business network and can offer its members beneficial connections with additional partners and fellow members. The list of partner organisations can be viewed on the Herefordshire Means Business website at www.hmbiz.co.uk.

Application Declaration

I, the undersigned, have completed this form to the best of my knowledge and ability and confirm the information supplied is accurate at the date of completion.

I, the undersigned, accept that all memberships are for a term of 12 months. This includes annual memberships and future renewals.

I hereby make an application for Membership of Herefordshire Means Business with a fee as specified at today's date plus VAT per year, and I agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

I have completed the ‘payment details’ form and understand that payment is due for an annual period, commencing on the first day of the month of application. Payments are non-refundable upon cancellation within a membership year.

I understand that I am not eligible for Membership benefits until my payment has been received by Herefordshire Means Business.

Herefordshire Means Business takes part in surveys which inform local, regional and national policy. I understand that from time to time, I may be asked for my contribution in completion of these surveys.

PERMISSION TO USE TESTIMONIAL, PHOTOGRAPHY AND/OR VIDEO IMAGES

I grant permission to Herefordshire Means Business Ltd, it’s representatives and employees, the right to use my testimonial and/or to take photographs and/or video images of me which may be used with or without my name for any lawful purpose, including publicity, illustration, advertising and Web content.

I agree to waive any right to and demand for compensation or other consideration for said rights. No promises have been made to me in exchange for my approval of these terms.

I hereby release Herefordshire Means Business Ltd, its representatives and employees, from any and all claims for damages, libel, slander, invasion of the right of privacy, or any other claim based on the use of said testimonial, photographs and/or video image.
